“Márgenes” is a concept project that emerged in the fall of 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic period in Europe.
The first project embedded in this concept aimed to send messages to women to love themselves despite the traces time leaves on their bodies.
Gradually, over two years, it has been expanded into a more complex conception. The name speaks for itself. “Márgenes” is a special Spanish noun with a multitude of significations like “distances”, and “extremities”…, but in reality, it means the contrary, it means «without limits ». Thus, this concept can be reflected in a multitude of areas.
It is dedicated to everyone who, despite age, race, or sexual orientation should be able to live with energy and self-confidence. Márgenes wants to show also that design and fashion can play an important role in this aspect.
Márgenes Concept speaks through its fashion photos and films, space-time illustrated with style and aesthetics but also through thematic events, exhibitions and fairs.
Today, “Márgenes” production projects and its concept have become the most visible and main achievement of a Spanish-based, non-profit entity, Berga-Mond Association.
