“Márgenes” is a project that aims to teach how to love oneself despite the fact that everything changes around us or in ourselves. It wants to be a manifesto that shows through design and fashion that our attitude defines our time and that change over time does not discredit us. Both in Spain and in other European countries.
This session shot in the Belgian capital is intended to show contrasts.
Not only the age difference of the two models, but also the difference between the greyish yet beautiful buildings and monuments of Brussels and the colorful fashions the models wear.
Contrasting the rigid image of Brussels as the administrative capital of Europe with rather mundane scenes of eating ice cream and carrying baguettes. And giving a slightly crazy touch by hinting at the many tourists who visit Brussels, some «bombing» the shoot. One step away from the René Magritte Museum, that famous surrealist painter with his famous phrase: «Ceci n’est pas une pipe».
Starting from design and fashion, we also include tourism and culture for revealing what time is for us, being non-conforming with social prejudices and stigmas, pointing out and convincing both young and old people, in particular women, of that say “Yes, I can and I do!”.
